Thermometer is a necessary temperature measurement tool for every family. Medical electronic thermometers are mainly powered by 3V button batteries, such as CR1632, CR2430 and other battery models.
When should the battery be replaced?
Generally, when the battery symbol appears and flashes on the screen, it means that the battery is low and needs to be replaced.
A low battery will affect the accuracy of the thermometer. To prolong the life of the product and the battery, the following is recommended:
1. If the product will not be used for more than one month, the battery should be removed to prevent battery leakage from damaging the product;
2. Most thermometers automatically turn off within 5 minutes of completing a reading, but to prolong battery life it is recommended that you press the power button to turn off the thermometer after completing a reading.
How to replace the battery?
1. Hold the gap of the battery cover on the back of the device with your finger, slide it back hard to open the battery cover
2. Use a non-conductive sharp object such as a toothpick to pierce the small hole to remove the battery.
3. Make sure that the positive and negative side of the battery are installed correctly (negative side facing up on the same side as the screen).
4. Gently push the battery box into the case.
